This week was a pretty good one. We have been trying to keep everyone going to be baptized on the 8th. We had a miracle this week, we have been teaching this guy and his wife since I got here. His name is Jose, and his wife's name is Ermilinda. They haven't wanted to come to church. Ermilinda said she will read and loves the Book of Mormon, but, wanted Jose to read it more. He can't read ether so that doesn't help. But, we decided we would bring a Member. We brought a member of the Branch Presidency. He was perfect to bring cause he used to be in a gang in California. He was addicted to drugs and stuff. Now he is a member and has his calling so we brought him with and he talked to him about his past, and how he can change and then we shared 3 Nephi 17 with him. He started to cry, a tough old dude, started to cry and told us how he wants to quit drinking so he can be a better example for his kids and so he could come closer to his family, especially his Wife and God for that matter. Then he and his whole family came to church yesterday and we gave him a blessing yesterday so he can stop drinking and he might be baptized if he can quit by tomorrow. Please pray for him!
This week was awesome we got to see a total change in someone's countenance, it was awesome. The church is true, and it is unbelievable what Members and Missionaries can do when they teach together. I hope everyone is good. I miss you all and know that the church is true, and that God wants you to find more about him and become closer to the very being who created you. Search the scriptures, God has put something in them for you.
